Oxonica Materials is developing solutions based on nanomaterials to meet the needs of the polymer and coatings and the electronics markets.
Damage to a wide range of polymeric materials and their underlying substrates can result from exposure to UV radiation. Oxonica’s SOLACOR™ UV absorber technology can protect the polymeric formulation from UV damage and also provide protection to sensitive substrates lying beneath coatings containing SOLACOR™.
A combination of conductivity, flexibility and transparency is sought for a number of thin film applications and Oxonica has developed technology to produce transparent metal oxides that can be deposited as films. Such films can be used for opto-electronic and thin film devices.
Oxonica’s approach is to work collaboratively with leading players in each target market sector to develop unique, tailored solutions which will precisely meet the needs of each end-user market.
