NANOPLEX™ Rapid Immunoassay
NANOPLEX™ Rapid addresses the requirement for quantitative lateral flow immunoassays by providing an optical detection modality that is highly applicable to rapid point of care testing. Key advantages over existing lateral flow assays are:
- Multiplexing capability in a single line in a sensitive lateral flow immunoassay (LFI) format
- Colloidal gold composition, similar to that already used extensively in lateral flow devices, allows for ease of integration into existing LFI
- Leverages the performance of surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS)
- NANOPLEX™ biotags have a convenient, glass encapsulated format which allows simple biofunctionalization with proteins and nucleic acids
- Near IR detection minimizes sample background interference. Devices can therefore be read in the presence of whole blood and other biological matrices
- Benchtop reader and proprietary software for data analysis

Multiplexing Benefits
- Simultaneous identification and quantitation of multiple analytes in a single line
- Optimization of performance through the use of an additional tag as an internal calibrant
Quantitation of three analytes (Flu A, Flu B, RSV) simultaneously from a single line
Assays perform independently without cross-talk
Use of an additional tag as internal control leads to reduction in %CV and thus provides robust quantitation
